MatterportScan-to-BIMLOD 200
Digital twin
The building in a form you can query.
A digital twin comes in two levels. First a fast copy in Matterport, usable straight away: walk the space, take measurements, show it to colleagues. Then, where the project calls for it, the full Scan-to-BIM model with the files your design team actually works in.
What it covers
- Matterport capture of the space, with the first digital copy delivered within days
- Scan-to-BIM modelling at LOD 200 level of detail, where required
- Modelling of structure and mechanical and electrical services
- Equipment register with technical specifications
- Periodic updates after works or extensions
When you need it
- You manage a property portfolio and the drawings no longer match reality
- You are planning a refurbishment or extension and need a reliable base
- You want to plan maintenance without hunting for where things run
What you receive
- Scan-to-BIM model at LOD 200 level of detail
- IFC4 export — open standard, opens in any BIM software
- Autodesk Revit (.RVT) export for further editing
- Floor and ceiling plans in DWG
- Point cloud in RCS as the record of survey
Scope and cost
Each file export is quoted separately. Cost depends on the building's area and complexity, and on which formats you choose. The quotation sets out exactly what is included.
